I was just reading my book The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime by Mark Haddon -- you'd be a fool to pass this book up -- it's the most original story in a long time and the main character is a loveable, scarily realistic 15-year-old autistic boy -- but it's funny and insightful and not making fun like Rain Man.
